We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri. This role is crucial to the efficient operation of our distribution center, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving orders. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary).
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and orders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety protocols.
- Perform general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of wearing appropriate PPE.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic.
