We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our Durham, North Carolina location. This role is critical for the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. You will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and effectively to load and unload trucks, move materials, and support our overall logistics operations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong safety record, relevant certifications, and a good understanding of warehouse procedures. You will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely dispatch of products. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up) to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Transport goods between different areas of the warehouse.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational efficiency.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification or license.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Strong knowledge of forklift Safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to using required PPE .
- Physical ability for tasks requiring significant movement and occasional Lifting .
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
