We are seeking a diligent Shipping & Receiving Associate for our busy warehouse in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is pivotal to our Logistics operations, managing the flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a strong commitment to Safety and efficiency. Experience in a similar role is preferred. We emphasize a secure and organized workspace, requiring strict adherence to Safety protocols and consistent use of appropriate PPE. Your role is crucial for seamless Logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and log all incoming materials and deliveries.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Organize warehouse space to ensure efficient flow of goods.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE at all times.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment within Logistics.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and WMS.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and Logistics procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and be mobile for the majority of the shift.
