We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our logistics hub in Durham, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will also perform general warehouse duties such as loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. A strong understanding of **Safety** procedures, including proper **PPE** usage and forklift operation, is essential. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** and inventory management systems is beneficial. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operator to join a leading company. You will be expected to adhere to all company policies and contribute to a culture of safety and productivity. Experience with various types of forklifts is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Follow all **Safety** guidelines and regulations.
- Wear required **PPE** at all times.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.
- Contribute to smooth **logistics** operations.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** of up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of warehouse **logistics** and inventory management.
- Strong commitment to **Safety** and proper **PPE** usage.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
