We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse, managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and overseeing daily warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in warehouse management. You will be responsible for scheduling staff, tracking inventory levels, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. A commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies is paramount. This position involves significant interaction with various departments and external partners, so excellent interpersonal skills are a must. You will also be involved in process improvement initiatives to enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock takes to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with carriers and suppliers to schedule and track shipments.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Ensure proper use of all warehouse equipment and facilitate maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Prepare reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and logistics performance.
- Resolve any operational issues that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or a degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Proficiency in WMS software.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices, including the use of appropriate PPE.
- Must be able to handle **Lifting** up to 50 pounds.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
