Seeking an energetic Order Picker to join our expanding logistics hub in Miami, Florida. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently gather items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our customer service commitment, requiring precision, speed, and a dedication to maintaining inventory accuracy. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are highly valued. We are committed to providing a safe and productive environment for all team members.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve items from warehouse locations according to order specifications using pick sheets or scanners.
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and product condition.
- Prepare picked items for staging and transport to packing stations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient picking.
- Operate pallet jacks and other relevant equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order picking, or similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to safety and understanding of PPE requirements.
