Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and discrepancies.
- Verify goods received against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label all incoming stock appropriately.
- Move received goods to designated staging or storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock area.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors and relevant departments promptly.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as inventory counts or stocking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
