Über
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for our facility in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout the warehouse, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent operational skills, and a strong commitment to Safety . Proper use of PPE and adherence to all operational guidelines are critical. This is a key position within our Logistics team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and organize inventory.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and safely.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklift equipment.
- Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and location verification.
- Follow all Safety procedures and protocols for forklift operation and warehouse conduct.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE , including hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
- Assist other warehouse personnel as needed with various tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways and safe storage.
- Handle tasks that involve potential Lifting and maneuvering of products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
