We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to become an integral part of our operations in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will contribute to the efficiency of our warehouse by managing inventory, fulfilling orders, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A strong emphasis is placed on adhering to all Safety regulations and properly using required PPE . Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive and unload inbound shipments, inspecting for damage and discrepancies.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision using RF scanners.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and participate in cycle counting initiatives.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment for all personnel.
- Follow all established Safety procedures and best practices diligently.
- Wear and maintain all assigned PPE , such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
- Perform physical tasks including regular Lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with WMS is a plus.
- Capacity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced setting and stand for long durations.
- Understanding of fundamental warehouse operations and Logistics processes.
- Dedication to maintaining a secure and Safety -conscious workplace.
