Lead and inspire our warehouse team as a Warehouse Supervisor in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are looking for an experienced and motivated leader to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and a safe working environment. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of goods. This leadership role is critical to our logistics success, requiring strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will play a key part in maintaining high standards for Safety, including the enforcement of PPE usage and proper Lifting techniques. Join us and make a significant impact on our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of the warehouse team.
- Ensure efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy, conducting regular audits.
- Enforce all company policies and Safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, providing ongoing feedback and development.
- Manage staff schedules and assign tasks to meet operational demands.
- Conduct regular Safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operated safely.
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Manage and resolve operational issues and conflicts.
- Oversee tasks involving moderate to heavy Lifting, ensuring proper techniques are used.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance and productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (WMS).
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong understanding of Safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve some Lifting.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment.
