Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. The Warehouse Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely completion of tasks. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, and ensuring smooth communication between various departments. This role is integral to our supply chain management, supporting our commitment to reliable logistics solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
  • Manage inventory control and reconcile stock counts.
  • Plan and schedule warehouse staff to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Oversee the efficient use of warehouse space and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators for warehouse operations.
  • Assist with the training of new warehouse staff on procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Resolve any operational issues that may arise during the day.
  • Ensure accurate documentation for all inventory movements.
  • Support the Logistics Manager in implementing process improvements.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or similar role.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring significant Lifting.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE is mandatory.
