We are seeking a diligent and organized Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Shipping Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely dispatch of goods from our warehouse. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to upholding safety standards. You will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, tracking shipments, and resolving any shipping-related issues that may arise. A good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management is beneficial. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that all outgoing orders are processed efficiently and correctly. Emphasis will be placed on maintaining clear and concise records of all shipping activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Experience with shipping software and familiarity with various shipping methods are highly valued. Adherence to all company policies and procedures, particularly those concerning safety and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipping documents accurately.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Track shipments and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Verify shipping information against order details.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Operate shipping equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or logistics role preferred.
- Proficiency in shipping software is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to guidelines.
