We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Richmond, Virginia. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your primary duties will include performing regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies between physical inventory and system data, investigating stock adjustments, and identifying root causes of inventory variances. You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring that all items are accurately logged into our system and stored in their designated locations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. We are committed to a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE, is paramount. Your contributions will be vital to our supply chain and overall logistics success. This role involves significant attention to detail and requires individuals comfortable with data analysis and problem-solving within a fast-paced warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management software and a solid understanding of warehouse operations. This role emphasizes accuracy and accountability. Understanding of inventory management principles and best practices is a plus. The role requires physical movement, including some lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
