Responsibilities:
- Accurately identifying and picking products according to order specifications.
- Carefully packing items to ensure safe transit and minimize damage.
- Verifying the contents of each order against the pick list.
- Using handheld scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Maintaining an organized and clean work area.
- Adhering to all established safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meeting daily productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Reporting any stock discrepancies or damages to supervision.
- Assisting with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as assigned.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics department.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is beneficial but not required; training will be provided. Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items weighing up to 40 lbs. Ability to remain standing and moving for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are crucial. Must be at least 18 years old. A strong understanding and practice of workplace safety are paramount. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
