We are seeking an organized and efficient individual to ensure our products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. This role is vital to our supply chain, requiring precision and attention to detail to meet customer demands. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include accurately selecting items from inventory based on order forms, ensuring the correct quantity and product are chosen. You will then carefully package these items, ensuring they are protected during transit, and prepare them for shipping. This position involves significant physical activity, including lifting and moving products, so a good level of fitness is required. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. You will operate various warehouse equipment as needed, and maintaining an organized workstation is key. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory according to customer orders.
- Inspect picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Package products securely for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Meet productivity targets while maintaining high accuracy standards.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is advantageous. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Good manual dexterity and organizational skills. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures. Understanding of safety practices in a warehouse environment and willingness to use PPE. Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Team player with good communication skills.
