We are hiring an Order Picker to join our growing logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and ability to work systematically are critical to ensuring that orders are picked correctly, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. This role involves navigating the warehouse, using picking equipment, and adhering to all Safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE. The ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting and standing for extended periods is essential. You will be a key player in our order fulfillment process, ensuring smooth logistics from selection to dispatch.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Transport picked orders to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety policies and procedures.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times while performing duties.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Willingness to follow all Safety guidelines and wear necessary PPE.
- Basic reading and math skills.
