We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our busy warehouse in Seattle, Washington. This role is essential for ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, verifying them against order details, and then carefully packing them for transit. Efficiency, accuracy, and a commitment to customer satisfaction are paramount. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of performing the duties, which include significant lifting , standing, walking, and reaching. Strict adherence to all company safety policies and the consistent use of required PPE are non-negotiable. This position is a critical link in our logistics chain, and your contribution will directly impact our service levels. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Select appropriate packing materials to protect items during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
- Wear and use all mandated PPE .
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Perform duties requiring moderate to heavy lifting .
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics and fulfillment operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in picking or packing is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills.
