We are seeking an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our Tampa, Florida warehouse team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for retrieving items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. Accuracy and speed are key, as your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our logistics operations. You will use scanning devices to locate and record picked items, ensuring that all orders are complete and correct. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe lifting techniques. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, can work independently, and thrives in a dynamic warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick assigned items from warehouse shelves based on order pick lists.
- Verify product identification and quantities against order details.
- Utilize handheld scanners to manage inventory and track picking progress.
- Stage picked items for packing or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Follow all warehouse safety rules and regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or product damage to a supervisor.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts as needed.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics and fulfillment processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Strong organizational skills.
