We are looking for an energetic and dependable Fulfillment Associate to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be at the heart of our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This is a dynamic position within a busy warehouse environment where attention to detail and a commitment to quality are essential. You will work with various types of products, requiring careful handling and accurate record-keeping. Understanding and adhering to our safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. The role involves a significant amount of physical activity, including frequent lifting and moving of packages. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be a key contributor to our logistics operations, helping us meet customer demands and maintain high service standards. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label shipments accurately for delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Conduct quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting tasks, up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic safety in a logistics setting.
- Willingness to learn and operate different types of warehouse equipment.
