Your role will be crucial in ensuring that products leave our facility on time and in perfect condition, contributing directly to our overall logistics operations. We prioritize the safety of our employees, and comprehensive training will be provided, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate lifting is required.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Verify shipping information and select appropriate shipping carriers and methods.
- Operate shipping software and equipment, such as barcode scanners and printers.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Communicate with internal teams and external carriers to resolve any shipping discrepancies.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of shipping supplies.
- Ensure all packages meet company and carrier requirements.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping software.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
