Join our team as a Warehouse Worker in Portland, Oregon! This role is fundamental to our distribution process, involving the efficient handling of goods within our facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory.
- Put away stock into appropriate storage locations, ensuring organization.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - certification may be required) safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse premises.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandated use of PPE .
- Participate in inventory management and cycle counts.
- Support overall logistics functions and team objectives.
- Identify and report any issues related to inventory or equipment.
Qualifications:
Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not essential. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Reliability and punctuality are essential. Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Adherence to all safety rules and the proper use of PPE is required.
