We are hiring an Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and ability to work at a fast pace are crucial for success. You will use order lists or scanners to locate and retrieve items, ensuring that the correct products and quantities are picked. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority; therefore, all associates are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow established safety guidelines. The role involves significant walking, standing, and occasional lifting of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order sheets or scanner data.
- Verify product codes and quantities before placing them in designated areas.
- Use warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, to move items.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors immediately.
- Meet established picking quotas and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order processing.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed within the logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring regular lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good physical stamina, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
