We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk for our Colorado Springs, Colorado warehouse. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring all goods are accurately documented, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting our Logistics operations. You will work closely with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to ensure a smooth receiving process. A strong focus on detail and adherence to Safety protocols is paramount. Training on safe Lifting practices will be provided. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify received goods against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy in quantity and type.
- Inspect shipments for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Enter receiving data into the warehouse management system accurately and efficiently.
- Tag and stage incoming inventory for put-away.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment to move incoming freight.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and internal departments.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
Experience in receiving, inventory control, or a similar role in Logistics is preferred. Ability to perform occasional Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer proficiency and experience with WMS is a plus. Understanding of warehouse Safety practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Must be reliable and punctual.
