This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role on a major water infrastructure project, overseeing construction activities and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Youll be working within a collaborative project team, gaining strong exposure to site supervision, stakeholder management and project delivery on critical utility infrastructure.
Projects: Large-scale water pipeline infrastructure projects Public sector utility upgrades and network improvements Civil engineering works including pipelines, chambers and associated infrastructure Projects delivered within live environments with a strong focus on safety and quality Multidisciplinary coordination across design, contractor and client teams Role: Act as Resident Engineer overseeing site activities and ensuring compliance with design and specifications Supervise construction works, monitor progress and maintain detailed site records Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental standards on site Liaise with contractors, client representatives and design teams Review drawings, specifications and method statements Manage quality control processes, inspections and testing Identify and resolve on-site technical issues in collaboration with project stakeholders Prepare regular progress reports and contribute to project meetings Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline 5+ years experience in site supervision or Resident Engineer roles Strong experience on water / wastewater / pipeline projects Knowledge of Irish Water / Uisce ireann standards (highly desirable) Experience administering contracts (e.g.
