As our team continues to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Construction Inspector  to support our ongoing and upcoming infrastructure projects.


Position Summary

The Construction Inspector  will be responsible for overseeing construction activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, and regulations. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality control and verifying that work is performed safely and efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Monitor contractors’ work and progress, documenting findings with detailed daily inspection reports.
  • Assign work to Construction Inspectors, and lead the progress. 
  • Identify and report deficiencies, unsafe practices, or deviations from project requirements.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals.
  • Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues on site.
  • Verify materials and workmanship meet contract requirements.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure all inspections comply with applicable safety and environmental regulations.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 1-6 years of experience in construction inspection or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication, observation, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inspection/reporting software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • PMP certification or enrollment is an asset.
  • P.Eng., EIT, CET is an asset. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP certification or enrollment
  • P.Eng., EIT, CET


Pay Range:

  • Senior Construction Inspector: $65,000 – 95,000
