THIS IS THE ROLE YOU’LL HAVE

The Skylar Creative Team is seeking a Graphic Designer who can bring thoughtful, high-quality creative to life across a range of brand and marketing initiatives. In this role, you’ll translate ideas and business objectives into compelling visual solutions—delivering work that is on brand, on brief, and on deadline in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


You’ll be responsible for producing a wide variety of design deliverables across print and digital channels, with a strong focus on craft, consistency, and attention to detail. This role requires someone who is confident presenting ideas, open to feedback, and skilled at collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders. A strong foundation in design fundamentals, visual storytelling, and marketing principles, paired with the ability to balance creativity and efficiency, is essential.


THIS IS WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

  • Participate in planning and kickoff meetings to understand project goals, objectives, and success criteria
  • Review and interpret creative briefs, translating marketing strategies and business objectives into effective visual solutions
  • Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, concept, and develop strong, integrated design ideas
  • Design clear, compelling visual communications across brands and sub-brands, ensuring consistency and integrity across all touchpoints
  • Present creative concepts internally and, when required, to clients to help guide strategic direction and creative decision-making
  • Support account managers and project teams by bringing concepts to life and delivering on day-to-day design needs
  • Contribute original ideas and actively encourage collaborative creative thinking within the team
  • Design a wide range of assets including brand identity, advertising, POS, digital, and campaign materials under the guidance of the Creative Lead
  • Conceptualize, design, and produce content for social media platforms, including static posts, carousels, short-form video, motion graphics, and quick-turn assets
  • Contribute to UX design for digital experiences such as websites, landing pages, and campaign microsites—considering user journeys, information architecture, and usability in collaboration with the team
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to support ideation, concept exploration, asset creation, and production efficiencies—while applying strong design judgment and attention to craft
  • Partner closely with copywriters on brand development, storytelling, and campaign concepts
  • Support the creative development of digital campaigns across consumer touchpoints, including (but not limited to) display ads, email campaigns, landing pages, and websites
  • Produce and support video and animation content, from concept through execution
  • Manage competing priorities, multi-task effectively, and consistently deliver high-quality work that is on time and on strategy


YOU’RE THE RIGHT PERSON IF YOU HAVE THESE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of design experience in an agency environment
  • Thorough knowledge and demonstrated ability in computerized design and knowledge of related software, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, After Effects, PowerPoint, Figma
  • Experience across multiple marketing mediums including digital, video, TV, print, OOH, etc.
  • Photography experience is a plus
  • Strong and versatile creative portfolio
  • University degree or college diploma in creative, communications and/or advertising design or related field (not mandatory)
