The ideal candidate will have experience engaging executive sponsors, IT Leads, Business Leads and establishing trusted partnerships to ensure deliveries are within scope, budget and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction and coordination of large-scale data center migration and networking projects.
- Navigate complex legacy environments to identify dependencies, risks, and integration points across systems and teams.
- Proactively gather missing information and build relationships with infrastructure, security, application, and vendor teams to facilitate progress.
- Translate high-level objectives into actionable technical plans and workstreams.
- Support project managers by providing technical insights, sequencing priorities, and driving execution momentum.
- Act as the bridge between engineering and business stakeholders, ensuring challenges are communicated and mitigations are in place.
- Create clear documentation, diagrams, and migration pathways to accelerate technical decision-making.
- Foster collaboration in fast-moving, uncertain situations to maintain momentum and focus
Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management experience in infrastructure or network engineering area, with exposure to large-scale transformations or migrations in financial institutions.
- Strong understanding of data center technologies, networking architectures (LAN/WAN, firewalls, routing), and cloud or hybrid migration strategies.
- Proven ability to work in ambiguous, high-pressure environments and to make progress without full information.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with ITIL, change management, and risk frameworks used in the banking industry.
- PMP or related certifications are an asset but not mandatory; a proactive, problem-solving mindset is essential.
