Workday Project Manager - WD Talent Certified

Location: Canada preferred

Contract: 20 weeks

Hours: Part-time, likely under 20 hours per week

We are looking for a Workday Project Manager to support a Workday module deployment. This role requires someone with strong Workday implementation project management experience who can lead delivery, provide structure, and guide stakeholders through a successful deployment.

This is not a generic PM role. The successful person will need to understand Workday delivery methodology, governance, planning, and best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery across a Workday implementation
• Manage project plan, timeline, milestones, and overall progress
• Provide Workday-specific methodology and delivery guidance
• Manage risks, issues, and stakeholder communication
• Support status reporting and programme updates
• Work closely with functional consultants and internal project stakeholders
• Help ensure the deployment stays on track across scope, schedule, and quality

Required experience

• Strong experience managing Workday implementation projects
• Experience supporting Workday Talent deployments
• Strong understanding of Workday project delivery methodology
• Ability to manage governance, planning, reporting, and risks
• Able to provide practical delivery guidance, not just administrative project support
• Comfortable working in a part-time contract role

Desired experience

• Experience with Workday Performance Management deployments
• Workday certification preferred
• Canada-based preferred
• Experience working in fast-paced deployment environments
