Canada needs an independent financial guide. One with no conflicts, no lead selling, and no agenda beyond helping Canadians make better financial decisions.

FinanceCanada.ca is that platform — calculators, rate comparisons, financial education, and a verified directory of accredited local professionals across Canada.

We're looking for a senior UX/UI designer to own the full design system from scratch.

What the role involves:

Full Figma design system — component library, all states, spacing tokens, typography scale. Every page template across seven content verticals. Mobile-first at 375px and 768px. Interactive prototype. Developer handoff in Figma Dev Mode. The aesthetic benchmark is Wealthsimple. The creative direction is yours to establish.

Who we're looking for:

Senior product designer with Canadian fintech or banking experience. You've built a design system from zero — not inherited one, not extended one. Built one. You think in components not screens. You've worked on information-dense financial interfaces — calculators, dashboards, rate comparisons, and professional directories.

One ask before anything else:

Show us a design system or component library you built from scratch. Not finished screens. The system.

The details:

Fixed project fee. Figma deliverable. Developer handoff to a Shopify-level engineering team. Timeline to mid-May delivery. Remote — Canada preferred.
