Project Manager

Agilus is recruiting for a Project Manager in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta.

This Project Manager role leads large, multi million dollar turnkey fabrication projects within the oil & gas sector. The position is highly execution focused, owning schedule, cost, and client communication from contract award through delivery. You will manage complex equipment packages, work closely with senior leadership, and navigate high stakes client relationships where professionalism, judgment, and emotional intelligence are critical.

Responsibilities:

• Own project budgets, schedules, and overall execution from award to completion
• Create and manage detailed Microsoft Project schedules and Gantt charts
• Develop and maintain Excel based timelines and cost tracking tools
• Lead client, vendor, and internal meetings with confidence and control
• Communicate directly with major oil & gas clients and key vendors
• Manage expediters, vendor performance, and delivery timelines
• Control project messaging using strong judgment and emotional intelligence
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, project managers, and project engineers

Requirements:

• Bring 5–10 years of oil & gas project management experience
• Demonstrate strong background in fabrication or manufacturing environments
• Manage multi million dollar turnkey or equipment package projects
• Apply experience with pump, compressor, or similar mechanical packages
• Utilize advanced scheduling skills in Microsoft Project and Excel
• Exhibit high emotional intelligence and polished client communication
• Navigate high pressure, high visibility client interactions effectively
• Operate independently without direct reports while influencing outcomes
