What You Will Do

As a Senior Project Manager at QM Environmental, you will lead complex construction, demolition, and environmental projects from inception through completion. You’ll ensure operational excellence, reinforce health and safety, and build long-term client relationships—while driving profitability and project success.

Project Execution

• Deliver projects in alignment with contract requirements, scope, and KPIs.
• Oversee billing, field data collection, and accurate project documentation.
• Manage preconstruction submittals, site records, and project file systems.
• Delegate tasks effectively and coordinate subcontractors and field teams.
• Identify out-of-scope work, manage change orders, and optimize cost efficiency.
• Maximize job profitability and monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support invoicing, reporting, and full project close‑out.

Client Relationships & Business Development

• Build and maintain strong client relationships that drive new opportunities.
• Lead bid reviews, prepare responses to RFPs/RFQs, develop cost estimates, and evaluate bids.

Health & Safety Leadership

• Promote and uphold QM’s safety-first culture and compliance standards.
• Participate in EHS planning, risk assessments, and development of safe work instructions.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of progressive project management experience in construction, demolition, or earthworks.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and client-facing project delivery.
• Strong estimating experience.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation and project management best practices.
• PMP certification is considered an asset.
