Key Responsibilities

As the Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, analysis, and delivery of diverse projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop detailed structural designs and perform calculations for a variety of projects, ensuring full compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Utilize industry-leading engineering software to model and analyze structural components, contributing to efficient and safe design solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and construction teams to seamlessly integrate structural systems into overall project designs.
• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications, and site data to provide technical insight and support informed decision-making.
• Conduct site inspections and construction reviews to ensure alignment with design intent, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and permit applications to support regulatory compliance and project transparency.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team environment.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance project outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering is required. A master’s degree is considered an asset.
• 3–5 years of experience in structural design and engineering, preferably within construction or infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency in structural design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• A strong understanding of local building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to delivering high-quality, safe engineering solutions.
