Job Title:
Specialist, Electrical Engineer As a member of the Hardware Design Verification and Validation (HDV) team, responsibilities will include design and automation of RF test and measurement systems for testing and characterization of complex military communication/networking equipment. In addition, the position will include collaboration with other scientists, engineers, and management to analyze test data, generate visualizations, and create reports. Design, develop, and debug software applications for control/automation of test and measurement equipment using NI LabVIEW and TestStand Continuous improvement of measurement algorithms, techniques and reporting to improve quality and reduce overall test time Consult with electrical engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate measurement techniques and corresponding measurement data as they relate to operational performance requirements of new products Organize, analyze, and interpret large data sets from varying sources using automation where feasible. Develop reports from this data to represent and communicate product performance. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to other engineers on the HDV team Ability to Obtain a US Security Clearance Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Proficiency with Object-Oriented Programming and Design (OOP/OOD) Familiarity with software management tools (e.g. Familiarity with test equipment such as: Spectrum/Network analyzers, Power Meters, DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Audio analyzers Networking and Radio communication system experience Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems Familiarity with Python, C#.NET, XML, HTML/CSS/JS LabVIEW Programming experience L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
