They create custom outdoor living spaces with integrity and craftsmanship. Committed to treating clients like family, the company is equally dedicated to being there—morally and financially—for every employee.
What You'll Do as an Outdoor Living Designer: Create
detailed drawings and plans for decks, outdoor living spaces, and outdoor kitchens for construction. Turn
concepts into clear, build-ready plans, including elevations, materials, and specifications. Update
designs based on client feedback, site conditions, and team input. Ensure
designs comply with building codes, zoning requirements, and structural standards. Prepare & submit
permit applications, including drawings and required documentation. Work
with townships and HOAs to get approvals, handle revisions, and track timelines. Keep
project files, permits, and approvals organized and up to date. Build & manage
production packets with plans, materials, notes, and documentation. Coordinate
with sales, project managers, and field teams to keep projects moving smoothly.
Our Ideal Outdoor Living Designer: Experienced:
2+ years of design and drafting experience required. Experience with permitting is preferred, but training is available. Experience using CAD or design software (DIP 3D or similar) required. Detail-oriented:

Works well with customers and team members to keep projects clear and moving forward. Organized:
Manages multiple projects, timelines, and documentation without letting things slip. Problem-solver:
Works through design challenges, site condition issues, and revisions to find practical solutions. Computer Skills:
Comfortable using design software, Microsoft Office, and learning new systems such as CRM tools.
