American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC-SLP certification and at least 1 year of acute rehab experience for a Level II trauma acute care hospital assignment.

• Position is based in a 456-bed acute care hospital with Level II trauma designation
• Primary assignment on the acute rehab unit with an average daily census of 11
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with rotating weekend and holiday coverage
• Cerner is used for electronic medical records documentation
• Main duties involve providing speech therapy services to acute rehab patients
• Opportunity to work as part of an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Ongoing training modules must be completed prior to assignment start
• Returning travelers with prior employment at this health system may be subject to an eligibility review process
• Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
• Scrubs are required attire in this setting

• Current CT Speech and Language Pathologist license required if applicable
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) through ASHA required
• At least 1 year of experience working in an acute rehab setting
• Two professional references or standard evaluations from the prior year in the current discipline and specialty from a manager or above
