We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. This vital role involves overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and the smooth flow of logistics. You will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing stock levels, implementing safety protocols, and optimizing warehouse processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and safety regulations. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, warehousing, and distribution.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Oversee the efficient picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes for maximum efficiency in logistics.
- Maintain relationships with carriers and suppliers.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure a safe working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise.
- Generate reports on key performance indicators related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in logistics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in warehouse coordination or management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated ability in leading and motivating teams.
- Excellent understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
