We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our growing logistics center in Madison, Wisconsin. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary duties will involve accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and efficiently packing them for shipment. This role requires a high level of accuracy, speed, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. The ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is essential. We are committed to providing a safe and productive workplace, and all team members are expected to follow established safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations using order lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks for moving goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order picking or packing is advantageous.
- Must be able to perform moderate Lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Must wear provided PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
