Responsibilities:
- Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Overseeing inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and cycle counting processes.
- Managing the efficient flow of goods, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensuring compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Implementing and optimizing warehouse workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Training and mentoring warehouse personnel on best practices and safety standards.
- Maintaining warehouse equipment and facilities, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Collaborating with management and other departments to meet operational goals.
- Resolving operational issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
- Generating reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and safety metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Coordinator or similar supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of WMS and other relevant warehouse management software.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with PPE requirements.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
