As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all operations. This role is vital to our logistics chain, requiring a strong commitment to Safety and careful handling of all products. You will operate various equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), and maintain a clean and organized work environment. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and moving of goods. We value teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare information against invoices or other documents.
- Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist with inventory counts and discrepancy investigations.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain operations of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment. Forklift certification is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform frequent Lifting (up to 60 lbs) and bending.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following all guidelines.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliability and punctuality.
