This position requires physical stamina, the ability to perform frequent lifting, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems is beneficial, and comprehensive training will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Utilize handheld scanners to track picked items and update inventory levels.
- Verify picked items against order manifests to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Transport picked items to the designated staging or packing areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established picking productivity and quality standards.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
- Perform regular lifting and moving of products as part of the picking process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Understanding of basic logistics and inventory control principles is beneficial.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and contribute to a secure workplace.
