Join our fast-paced warehouse in Durham, North Carolina, as an Order Picker! We're looking for energetic individuals who can accurately and efficiently pick, pack, and stage customer orders. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. You'll be navigating the warehouse using pick lists or scanners, so efficiency and accuracy are key. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, which includes mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all safety regulations. The role involves significant walking and requires the ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Stage orders for outbound shipping.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order specifications.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Good stamina and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding and adherence to safety practices.
