Job Summary:
Join our dedicated team as an Inventory Control Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, and implementing measures to prevent stock inaccuracies. You will work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to ensure that all inventory movements are recorded correctly and efficiently. A strong understanding of inventory management software and warehouse operations is essential. This position requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While not physically demanding, some occasional Lifting of inventory may be necessary, and appropriate PPE will be provided. You will be an integral part of our logistics and supply chain efficiency, ensuring that our customers receive accurate orders. We prioritize a high standard of workplace Safety and expect all employees to adhere to established protocols.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Implement and monitor inventory control procedures.
  • Identify root causes of inventory inaccuracies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations related to inventory handling.
