We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. Your efficiency and attention to detail are critical to ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing warehouse equipment and adhering to strict safety protocols. We are committed to maintaining a safe workplace, and all employees are expected to follow safety guidelines diligently and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position is fundamental to the success of our supply chain and requires a proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize products within the warehouse.
- Pick customer orders accurately using scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Capability of Lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
