We are seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. This is a fundamental role in our logistics operations, responsible for various essential tasks that keep our warehouse running smoothly. You will be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to team goals are highly valued. You'll be an integral part of our supply chain, ensuring that products move efficiently through our facility. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas with incoming goods.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on order slips.
- Prepare products for shipment, including labeling and packaging.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and work areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts.
- Support the overall logistics and distribution process.
Previous warehouse or manual labor experience is beneficial but not required. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including consistent lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Basic understanding of warehouse operations. A strong commitment to safety and following procedures. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment. Good communication skills and ability to work with others. Reliability and punctuality are essential.
