We are seeking motivated Material Handlers to join our busy logistics facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be essential to the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving, staging, and moving materials, as well as loading and unloading trucks. You will utilize various equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), to transport items safely and efficiently. Maintaining a clean and organized work area is crucial, and adhering to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount to ensuring a safe working environment. This position requires physical capability, including the ability to perform substantial lifting and prolonged periods of standing and walking. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and possess a strong team spirit. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Stage materials for production or shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Transport goods throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and PPE.
- Familiarity with basic logistics operations.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Good communication skills.
