Join our busy warehouse team in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Warehouse Worker. This role is fundamental to our daily operations, involving a variety of tasks to ensure the efficient handling of goods. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping inventory. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
- Pick orders accurately based on pick lists or RF scanner data.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Familiarity with safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
