Are you a detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role in Austin, Texas? We are hiring a Picker/Packer to join our state-of-the-art logistics facility. You will play a vital part in our order fulfillment process, ensuring that products are accurately selected, securely packed, and ready for delivery. This position requires a proactive approach and a commitment to maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy within our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving repetitive lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina for standing, walking, and lifting.
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Basic understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
