Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify that order contents match shipping documentation.
- Package items securely for transport, selecting appropriate materials.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as pallet jacks and scales.
- Generate shipping labels and prepare bills of lading.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain organized shipping records and files.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE .
- Assist with receiving operations as needed.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including some Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and carrier portals.
- Strong understanding of Logistics processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of workplace Safety .
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including occasional Lifting .
- Attention to detail is critical for accuracy.
