Job Summary:
Our state-of-the-art distribution center in Madison, Wisconsin, is seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to support our busy operations. This role is integral to our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a high-performance team. A strong understanding of warehouse procedures and a commitment to following safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE, are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Store and organize inventory accurately within the distribution center.
  • Pick and pack orders according to specific customer requirements using RF scanners.
  • Operate various material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies).
  • Load finished orders onto trucks for shipment, ensuring proper securing.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
  • Perform regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs.
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals for logistics efficiency.
  • Assist in other warehouse functions as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the necessity of using provided PPE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
