Seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our vibrant warehouse in Miami, Florida. This critical role supports our extensive Logistics network by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and products throughout the facility. Responsibilities include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage, and assist with order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is safety-oriented, detail-minded, and capable of working in a demanding, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trailers and containers with accuracy and care.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
- Assist in picking, staging, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in cycle counting.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures relevant to warehouse operations and Logistics.
- Wear and properly utilize all required PPE, including safety vests and footwear.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and achieve Logistics targets.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
- Ability to handle frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Solid knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and Logistics principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on Safety.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
